Chicago Public Schools project is the implementation of People Soft of one of the nation’s largest public school systems with more than 50,000 employees. This implementation is part of the CPS effort of modernization, which overhauls several enterprise-level systems, enables the District to serve its dynamic student population more efficiently, and comply with No Child Left Behind requirements. The goal for this project is replace the 30 years old legacy system to the PeopleSoft version 8.9, implementing all the new functionality that can assist in the improvement of the Chicago Public Schools business processes.

San Diego City Schools (2006) - Functional Team Lead for the upgrade from PeopleSoft 8.8 to 8.9 on the HR, Payroll, Base Benefits, Benefits Administration, Recruitment Solutions, Time and Labor, GL Interface and Position Management. San Diego City Schools is one of the nation’s largest urban public school system educating over 140,000 students and with more than 25,000 employees. The PeopleSoft upgrade is a part of San Diego Schools’ multi-year “District Wide Automation” effort, which overhauls several enterprise-level systems, enables the District to serve its dynamic student population more efficiently, and comply with No Child Left Behind requirements. The goal for this project is upgrade the system to the newest PeopleSoft version implementing all the new functionality that can assist in the improvement of the San Diego City Schools business processes.
San Diego County Water Authority (2005) - Project Manager for the upgrade from PeopleSoft 8.3 to 8.9 on the HR, Payroll, Base Benefits and Position Management and the new implementation of Time and Labor, Benefits Administration, GL Interface, eApplications and T&L and Project Costing Interface modules. The San Diego County Water Authority is an agency with 280+ employees and 14,000+ Project accounts. The goal for this project was enable the Manager/Employee Self Service applications for Time and Labor, HR, Benefits and Payroll for the employee to manage their own transactions. This project was implemented with full integration between PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) and PeopleSoft Finance with interfaces between Project Costing and Time and Labor, Payroll and GL, Benefits/Payroll and Account Payables.
Next Generation ERP Project-Treasury Department of Puerto Rico (2004) - Functional Team Lead for the upgrade from PeopleSoft 7.5 to 8.8 on the HR, Payroll, Commitment Accounting, Time and Labor, Base Benefits, Recruitment, Training Administration and Employee Evaluations modules. The goal for this pilot project was to automate paper-based recruiting and training systems for this 5,000-employee agency that processes 2000+ employment applications annually and has an extensive training program.
Detroit Public Schools, PHASE TWO (2002 –2003)
Team Lead for two functional and one technical professional for this upgrade of HR, Payroll, Time & Labor and Recruitment Workforce to PeopleSoft 8.8, along with Employee/Manager Self Service, and Labor Relations. Detroit Public Schools (DPS) is the nation’s tenth largest school district with approximately 270 schools, 160,000+ students and 25,000+ employees and has a history of poor performance in managing HR and Payroll functions.Detroit Public Schools, PHASE ONE (2001 –2002)
